The Organico Pasta story

Organico pasta is made by a co-op that was founded in the 1970s. At this time the local community was at risk of abandonment due to movement of residents into the towns and cities. The co-operative was started with focus on supporting local producers and traditional methods, and 40 years on it is these ends it still pursues.

They choose community development, organic agriculture, and Italian raw ingredients.

Location fact file:

Central Italy, Province of Pesaro e Urbino. The Pasta is Italian in origin. All water used is drawn from a source that does not have industrial agriculture upstream.
